I braved the storm (talking here about the strongest typhoon to hit the Philippines this year)...

I seized the day (probably the night when I "co-starred" Inad's talent portion in Mutya 2004.)...

and now, I conquered the temptation...

About the temptation:
      I was penniless for three days now--the first time ever in my entire life! I was literally out of cash because I lost it all in preparation for the Mutya. A requirement for being a "mommy" is to spend your own money for our "babies." All that was left to me after the weekend was a little over 30 pesos! I spent most of that in writting last Monday's entry. I continued to "live" my penniless life for 3 more days after that. I manage to conceal it to the people around me one way or the other by, buckle up for this, walking my way through my classes! I walked from our dormitory to the Math Bldg. for my math class. The distance f.y.i. is approx. 2 freakin' kilometers! I wore my rubber shoes that time so the burden will not be that much. The real challenge in the whole penniless ordeal was resisting the temptation to food. There were countless times when a banana cue vendor, or a monay vendor, or an ice cream vendor would come my way and the feeling of hopelessness and frustration is really really BAD. I wanted to eat and indulge but I can't. I was nothing. Turns out that money and food come together. If you have no money, you have no food. No food=nothing. Therefore, I was nothing. I learned that tthe hard way.

You might ask the role of my parents in this ordeal. They're penniless too, because my dad's payment for his "raket" (for he's an engineer) will come not later than next week. But he got an advance and here I am: penniless no more.

I still have an LSS for this song. In Inad's performance last Saturday, I lipsync this song with him. I personally think that what I did was stupid and lame but hey they loved it! The crowd actually loved it. And for that, I will love this song, until the end of time...(come what may...)
